Base Operative, Maintenance​/Cleaning

We currently have vacancy for a Base Operative to support operations at our Heysham facility.

• Loading and discharging trailers and containers.
• Lifting operations.
• Checking materials.
• Maintaining yard and warehouse cleanliness.

Applicants will have experience of operating a forklift up to 12 tonnes and working in a similar role.

• Experience operating a forklift up to 12 tonnes.
• OPITO approved Banksman/Slinger certificate is highly desirable (training will be provided if not certified).
• Experience with SAP and stock checking is desirable.

The successful candidate will have a focus on delivering good customer service, a commitment to health and safety, and excellent communication skills. The role is safety‑critical.

The successful candidate will also be required to support the duty call‑out rota (1 week out of
3).
