We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and highly organised
Full-Time Dental Admin Assistant / Receptionist
to join our fantastic practice in
Lowestoft
.
Our reception team plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the practice. We are therefore looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering
exceptional, first-class customer service
and creating a
warm, welcoming environment
for our patients.
Our new receptionist must be able to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and provide a positive, memorable experience for our patients.
Working hours are 5 days per week between Monday and Sunday will include a few hours of evening cover on a Saturday or a Sunday - to be discussed at interview.
Previous experienceWe are looking for someone who has at least 2 years' experience of working in a reception setting (preferably medical or dental).

- Meeting and greeting patients, providing a professional and friendly first impression
- Booking, amending, and managing patient appointments to optimise diaries
- Answering patient enquiries via telephone, email, and in person
- Handling payments and supporting basic financial administration
- Supporting
BBYL processes
, clinic closures, and appointment cancellations - Assisting with diary management, recalls, and filling appointment gaps
- Undertaking opening and closing procedures
- Promoting the practice to new and existing patients
- Making patients aware of dental services and current offers
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
- Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
- Providing reception cover for sickness and holidays when required
- Undertaking general reception and administrative duties as needed
