Current Shift: M-F ~7:30AM-4:30PM.
This is a long-term ongoing Datacenter Site Lead opportunity within a new NVIDIA DC build. The role oversees a team of 4 DC Techs and works through prioritizing workload based on buildout schedules.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary onsite leader for all data center operational activities, ensuring consistent execution of SLAs, safety protocols, and operational standards.
- Oversee daily workflows including error checks, inventory management, goods receiving, and coordination of remotehands support.
- Manage technician assignments, shift coverage, task prioritization, and performance coaching.
- Act as the point of contact for customer, vendor, and visitor interactions, including escorting and audit readiness.
- Manage the successful deployment of HPC servers and high‑density compute infrastructure.
- Lead and coordinate rack‑and‑stack activities for servers, storage, and hardware to support capacity expansion timelines.
- Ensure accurate and up‑to‑date capacity planning, asset tracking, and configuration management for the datacenter.
- Oversee data center change activities, including hardware installs, moves, cable deployments, and network gear installation.
- Provide escalation support for hardware troubleshooting.
- Partner with vendors to resolve complex hardware issues under support agreements, ensuring timely escalation and resolution paths.
- Guide the investigation and resolution of copper and fiber cabling issues and ensure high‑quality cable dressing, labeling, and installation standards.
- Support BIOS access, console troubleshooting, and basic Linux OS configuration or investigation to isolate issues.
- Oversee deployments, asset audits, workflow tool task completion, and operational documentation updates.
- Ensure adherence to all physical security, safety, and compliance requirements for the site.
- Maintain and enforce processes for inventory accuracy, equipment lifecycle management, and structured operational workflows.
- Apply strong Linux operational knowledge (Ubuntu or Red Hat) to support troubleshooting, log review, and system validation.
- Maintain a deep understanding of data center infrastructure elements such as power distribution, cooling systems, cabling methods, system resiliency, and airflow management.

Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as Datacenter Lead/Manager (technical and people leader).
- Proven experience with managing prioritization of workload across teams.
- At least 2 years of direct buildout activities.
- Lead the review of build documentation.
- Resolve escalations (technical and with team members).
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support.
- Proven adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) standards.
2 recent valid references are required.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
