The Technologist Aide will provide a professional, caring atmosphere to all customer groups, assisting technical staff while maintaining a fast‑paced medical environment. We are looking for individuals to join our team on a per diem basis.
What You Will Do- Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
- Assist the Technologist in setting up the room: set up the proper coil for exam, ensure clean linen, and make available any items that may assist the patient’s setup.
- Assist in the patient interview process: complete the safety checklist, gather symptoms and history, determine if prior exams, dress the patient properly, explain the procedure, and reassure the patient if anxious.
- Assist the Technologist in placing the patient for the exam: aid the patient in getting on the table, ensure all safety devices are in place, and help make the patient comfortable.
- Assist the Technologist upon completion of the exam: remove the patient from the bore, remove all safety equipment.
- Aid the patient off the table and assist to the changing area.
- Assist in checking that all paperwork is complete, retrieve all prior paper work and pertinent exams, check that prior exams are on the appropriate workstation, and assist with Tech Data Entry.
- Assist with the cleaning and stocking of exam rooms.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
- Must be able to assist patients with mobility difficulties and push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty‑five pounds.
The pay range for this position is $17/hr–$29/hr + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
