Position: Clinic Director (BCS-Lowell)

Overview

Bridgewell is seeking a Clinic Director (BCS-Lowell) to oversee the clinical and administrative functions of Bridgewell's outpatient behavioral health clinic. Provide leadership to clinical staff, ensure quality services, and maintain compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, supervise and provide leadership to all clinical staff.
  • Work with Human Resources and management on employee concerns, mentoring/training needs, development opportunities and disciplinary action as needed.
  • Foster employee engagement through recognition, appreciation and people development.
  • Ensure all employees maintain core training certifications (FA/CPR, PABC, MAP) and other mandatory trainings per Bridgewell policies and program requirements.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging in line with Bridgewell s DEIB initiatives.
  • Provide regular feedback and recognition to direct reports to develop skills and capabilities; support growth and development.
  • Conduct timely Performance Evaluations and address performance concerns in collaboration with program management and Human Resources.
  • Model the core philosophy of universal supports and Bridgewell values: dignity, respect, caring, integrity, safety and wellness.
  • Provide on-site support for clinic administrative staff.
  • Build, manage and monitor the clinic budget annually; participate in monthly clinic review meetings as required.
  • Ensure fiscal stability through clinician productivity oversight and identification of new referral resources.
  • Ensure compliance with Bridgewell policies and procedures in all care aspects; ensure the clinic meets regulatory standards (e.g., Department of Public Health, Department of Public Safety, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, Medicaid, Medicare, BSAS, private insurances).
  • Maintain and monitor client records according to regulatory standards via Utilization Review processes.
  • Provide oversight and support to the Behavioral Health Urgent Outpatient Program, including scheduling and shift coverage as needed.
  • Provide on-call support after hours, nights, weekends or holidays for emergency evaluations and triage.
  • Build and maintain relationships with funding sources and other referral sources.
  • Maintain an active internship program and oversee clinic site maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience
  • Minimum of Master s degree in a related field.
  • Current MA license as a Clinical Psychologist (PsyD or PhD), Social Worker (LICSW), or Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
  • At least five (5) years of full-time, supervised clinical experience post-master s degree, with two years in an administrative capacity.
Required Skills/Knowledge
  • Strong clinical skills and leadership, problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to develop and foster relationships with funding sources and area health care providers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to manage an operating budget; proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines; coaching and mentoring skills; change management capability.
  • Current US driver s license and driving experience.
Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally climb stairs and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel to program locations as needed and maintain required certifications (PPS, PABC Tier 1 & 2, medication administration, First Aid/CPR) per program needs and Bridgewell policies.

Salary: $95,000 - $118,000 per year
