- Computer literate and proficient in clinical documentation
- Basic internet navigation skills
- Valid physical therapy assistant state license
Provide physical therapy and related services for patients under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients per Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Deliver quality patient care, develop treatment plans, supervise rehab techs where required, and manage case responsibilities while adhering to state and federal regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Optimize functional abilities and skills of patients under PT direction
- Create and implement a strong physical therapy program
- Enhance clinical expertise and professional skills through education and collaboration
- Maintain a valid state license and stay updated on profession and healthcare trends
- Understand billing and payment models and deliver clinically appropriate care within guidelines
- Follow infection control procedures and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking) through instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports
