Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is seeking a long‑term substitute to fill the role of Middle School Music Teacher for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year. This position could become permanent for subsequent school years for the right candidate.

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is a tuition‑free public charter academy serving K‑12 students. It was founded in 2013 and now educates over 1,200 students. Our mission is to provide a top‑quality education and prepare all students for college and lifelong learning.
What You Will Do:
- Teach: Deliver engaging music lessons and support student academic growth.
- Manage: Apply classroom rules consistently, motivate students, and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Record: Observe, evaluate, and report on student performance and behavior.
- Collaborate: Work with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve student challenges and celebrate successes.
- Commit: Demonstrate commitment to the school community by following policies and maintaining attendance and punctuality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, with fluency in the subject area to be taught.
- Additional training or certifications in specific reading programs preferred.
- State certifications required for the position.
- Completion of reference and criminal background checks.
- Positive energy, a bright smile, and a warm heart.
Preferred Experience:
- At least 1 year of relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
Position Type: Full‑Time
Salary: $62,000 to $82,000 per year
