Saratoga Medical is looking to hire a Staff Development and Training Lead to work nursing/memory care facilities across Massachusetts. Package will include a competitive rate, paid time off and benefit options. This is NOT a travel position, but does require driving responsibilities.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN), gerontology, education, instructional design, psychology, social work, or a related field;
Master's degree preferred. - Preferred certifications:
Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT), or equivalent dementia-focused credentials. - 3-5+ years of experience in dementia care, long-term care, or healthcare education/training.
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or adult education (e.g., creating e-learning, workshops, or certification programs).
- Research and stay current on the latest evidence-based practices, guidelines, and research in dementia care.
- Design and develop engaging training curricula, including online modules, in-person workshops, train-the-trainer programs, interactive scenarios, case studies, videos, quizzes, and assessments.
- Create comprehensive training materials such as facilitator guides, participant handbooks, slide decks, job aids, and e-learning content.
- Develop resources for ongoing staff education, such as refresher courses, quick-reference tools, or annual in-service updates.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, certification standards (e.g., from organizations like NCCDP or Alzheimer's Association), and continuing education requirements.
