Position OverviewThe Technical Revenue Accountant will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of revenue recognition, accounting, and reporting processes. This role requires a strong understanding of technical accounting principles related to revenue recognition, as well as proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities- Apply technical accounting principles to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC
606 and other relevant standards - Prepare journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the Company’s revenue policy
- Monitor and reconcile revenue-related accounts and transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Collaborate with sales, contracts, and billing teams to ensure proper revenue recognition for complex contracts and transactions
- Assist in the preparation of revenue-related financial statements, reports, and disclosures
- Analyze revenue trends and variances, providing insights and explanations to management
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards related to revenue recognition
- Maintain detailed documentation and support for revenue accounting processes and transactions
- 3+ years of overall corporate experience or 2 years of public accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Fluency in U.S. GAAP and ability to research complex accounting issues with a focus in ASC 606
- Experience in preparation or review of account reconciliations
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and proven organizational skills
- Highly motivated, reliable and able to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written skills are required
- Ability to interact successfully with all levels and functions within an organization
- Solution-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for establishing best practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80,800 to $100,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
