Job Summary

Under routine supervision, this position is responsible for processing our least complex customer bid and rate proposals with minimal errors while meeting customer deadlines. The incumbent utilizes standard pricing support procedures to manage small to mid-size accounts. Manager support is required if deviations are necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate setup of new fuel programs and validate existing fuel surcharge programs for accurate billing
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand customer requirements and objectives related to pricing
  • Process and manipulate large data sets for customer bids and proposals
  • Convert external files obtained via the CRM tool and/or customer websites into a standard format to input into the internal pricing platform
  • Translate proposed rates back into the customer's format and return with all necessary documents to ensure the company is considered for the customer's award
  • Publish rates and accessorials into the rate database for accurate invoicing and billing
  • Analyze rate and accessorial publications to identify root causes of billing inaccuracies
  • Review all operational documentation for every CRM opportunity to ensure the right parties are involved for approval
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

1-2 years experience in transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, finance, pricing, and/or military equivalent experience

  • Ability to prioritize workload when working with multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work with large data sets accurately
  • Proficient time-management skills
  • Ability to adhere to defined principles/standards/procedures
  • Ability to multitask
  • Experience in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's in Finance, Business Administration, Transportation Logistics, or related field and/or equivalent military experience

Compensation

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
