Will be responsible for ensuring that the speed of play is consistent and that rules and regulations are followed on the golf course under the supervision of the Golf Division. Must be able to work variable hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays.
The salary range for this position is $15.16- $18.51 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
This is a part year position lasting a maximum of 10 months working less than 30 hours per week.
Position will remain open until filled.
Essential Functions- Greets players, makes sure they are checked in and calls them to begin play.
- Monitors cart numbers, records turn times and finish times.
- Monitors pace of play according to the pace of play chart.
- Make sure all players have been charged correctly.
- Communicates with the pro shop for walk on play and cleans and restages golf carts.
- Explains Ready Golf Program, states current golf course conditions, emphasizes green repair and cart rules.
- May be required to work at different facilities in other areas of the division.
- Duties may also include trash removal, cleaning, painting and other maintenance tasks as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School or GED
- Good understanding of the game of golf required.
- 2 years previous golf course tee manager or play manager experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.

- Requires strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Communicate effectively with co-workers and general public.
- Follow oral and written instructions
- Frequent light to moderate physical effort that includes frequent standing or walking or maintaining arms and hands in the same position for repetitive tasks. Frequently works with light objects and light hand tools.
- Frequent exposure to heat and noise along with working outside in the elements.
- Occasional moderate to considerable physical effort that includes working from ladders in awkward positions. Frequent use of light or medium weight objects (e.g., 25-50 lbs) and use of medium weight tools.
- Occasional exposure to hazards that are predictable or well protected against.
