Assists management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties to associates, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines. Supports compliance with company policies and procedures, and the Open Door Policy.
Participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
Maintains the safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and handling procedures, disposing of hazardous materials according to company standards, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
Supports the Sam's Club eCommerce plan in the club by overseeing operations of the eCommerce programs (e.g., Club Pick Up Ship From Club), auditing online customer feedback, resolving customer complaints, escalating unresolved issues, and identifying trends to generate causes and support management in implementing solutions.
Supervises associates supporting the eCommerce programs by training and providing resources to meet store associate needs, assigning duties, providing feedback, communicating goals, and ensuring associate coverage at the eCommerce pickup location.
Executes the Sam's Club Pickup plan and processes in the club by updating club operations with key performance indicators, auditing customer orders, ensuring correct fulfillment, maintaining equipment availability, and evaluating performance and processes to determine impact on overall club performance. Leads projects to improve CPU efficiencies, models appropriate picking and loading for other associates, and utilizes metrics to evaluate CPU effectiveness.
Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, providing guidance and support regarding self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services.
Ensures maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies, handling claims and returns, zoning, stocking, arranging and organizing merchandise, setting up cleaning and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.
Oversees picking and staging of club pick up orders throughout the day to ensure products are staged according to company policy and procedures. Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; monitors progress and results; and identifies and addresses improvement opportunities.
Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; assists management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems; and leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools to determine customer needs and business priorities.

Compensation InformationIn addition to hourly wages, additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
