TEAM is seeking an entry-level individual with a good mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and a safety-focused mindset who can follow processes and procedures. The candidate will be trained to perform Hot Tap and Line Stop services and assist with various tasks within the assigned service level qualification.

• Compliance with all safety procedures and job documentation.
• The primary role is to be trained, learn, and assist with Hot Tap and Line Stop operations using company processes and procedures, achieving or exceeding quality expectations for the performance of Hot Tap and Line Stop operations.
• Performing techniques and tasks including:
  • Creating a safe entry into a pipe or vessel; operating at a pressure or vacuum.
  • Hot taps and conventional line stops.
  • Hot stops.
  • Hi-Stops.
  • Super Hi-Stops.
  • Double Line Stops.
  • 45 Degree angle taps.
  • Tee stops and elbow stops.
  • Across-the-line stops.
  • Through-the-line valve stops.
  • Freeze stops.
• Attend and complete the required training to maintain competence and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Identify circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures and equipment.
• Maintain all tooling and equipment and document all service activities as required.

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver in a refinery or plant environment, including access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
• Clear speech and hearing or alternative communication capabilities.
• Visual acuity and observation skills.
• Manual dexterity to perform routine office duties.
• Ability to maintain focus, multitask, and communicate effectively.

• Position is based at a TEAM field office or client site.
• Field duties involve indoor and outdoor work in a plant or pipeline atmosphere.
• Interaction with crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.
• Work in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
• Must wear safety equipment as required by the safety department.
• May move between job sites in a day and tolerate climate changes.
• May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Technical school, industry, or relevant training preferred.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in a Hot Tap industrial setting is required.
• Driving License, TWIC Card, preferred.

Anticipated compensation for this role is $40.00–$45.00 per hour plus benefits.

Note:

Disclosure as required by SB19‑085 (8‑5‑20) of the pay range for this role when being hired into our locations in Colorado. TEAM reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and geography.
