RCI Off‑Road, headquartered in Loveland, Colorado, is a premier manufacturer of aftermarket truck and SUV accessories. As a Manufacturing Engineer at RCI Off‑Road you will play a pivotal role in creating high‑quality aftermarket truck and SUV accessories. You will lead efforts to optimize manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to the company’s commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for metal fabrication.
  • Leverage expertise with Amada lasers, Amada press brakes, Lincoln Electric Automation Robotic Welders, Vectis Cobot Welders, Powder Coating, and Packaging to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and improved operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement specialized tooling, fixtures, and jigs to streamline production.
  • Conduct process audits and root‑cause analyses to identify and rectify production challenges.
  • Provide technical support to operators, troubleshoot issues, and deliver actionable solutions.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, minimize cycle times, and elevate operational performance.
  • Collaborate with design and R&D teams to ensure manufacturability of new products and provide insights for design improvement.
  • Lead or participate in cross‑functional continuous‑improvement projects, cost‑reduction strategies, and quality initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in metal fabrication.
Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related industry experience.
  • 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in metal fabrication, working with lasers, press brakes, welding, and robotic welders.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles (5S, SMED, Kanban, Standard Work, Kaizen, Value‑stream Mapping).
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify process inefficiencies and quantify improvements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
  • Familiarity with CAD (Solid Works) and nesting software (Sigma Nest) is an advantage.
  • Proactive, continuous‑improvement driven, and creative problem‑solving mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Amada lasers, Amada press brakes, Lincoln Automation Robotic Welders, and Vectis Cobot Welders.
  • Extensive knowledge of material selection, welding methodologies, fixture design, and quality assurance.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary range: $65 000 – $75 000 per year. RCI Off‑Road offers Medical, Vision, Dental, Paid Life, AD&D, Long‑Term Disability, 401(k), and paid time off. Salary expectations should be included with your application.
