Enthusiast Auto Holdings (EAH) is a highly successful, primarily direct-to-consumer provider of specialty automotive, truck and SUV aftermarket parts that operates through eight specialty direct-to-consumer banners: ECS Tuning, Turner Motorsport, Pelican Parts, Rennline, Texas Speed & Performance, Z1 Motorsports, EVANNEX and RCI Off Road. With more than 1 million SKUs, EAH sells a mix of performance and repair parts under its own and third‑party brands.
EAH operates in eight locations and ships from five warehouses, supplemented by large‑scale drop shipping by its vendor partners. A new contract manufacturing operation is starting up at RCI Off Road in Loveland, Colorado. This role supports product manufacturability for a 9‑month, on‑site contract position.
As the Contract Manufacturing Lead at RCI Off Road, you will lead the introduction of new contract products into our facility. We have ~200 contract products in Solid Works awaiting production. Your expertise in manufacturing will help turn existing Solid Works files into manufacturable parts and integrate them into our existing processes. Experience with Solid Works, Amada lasers, press brakes, and continuous improvement is key.
Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with our contract buyer to prioritize, implement, and refine Solid Works designs into our metal fabrication processes.
- Improve manufacturability of pilot parts using Amada lasers, Amada press brakes, Lincoln Electric Automation robotic welders, Vectis Cobot welders, powder coating, and packaging.
- Prepare cost estimates for contract parts and perform cost analysis to ensure feasibility across multiple part categories.
- Partner with the existing team on any specialized tooling, fixtures, and jigs to streamline production and enhance manufacturing effectiveness.
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field plus 3+ years of hands‑on metal fabrication experience with lasers, press brakes, welding, and robotic welders; OR 10+ years of metal fabrication experience and Solid Works model editing, press break programming, and Amada/Sigma Nest cut file work.
- Strong collaboration skills with diverse cross‑functional teams and remote buyers, delivering clear communication and timely follow‑up.
- Proactive, continuous‑improvement driven, and creative problem‑solving mindset.
- Proficiency with Amada lasers, Amada press brakes, Lincoln Automation robotic welders, and Vectis Cobot welders.
- Extensive knowledge of metal fabrication processes, including material selection, welding methodologies, fixture design, and quality assurance.
- On‑shore 200 SKUs into existing processes during the 9‑month contract and expand American manufacturing.
- Lead projects to meet internal and buyer timelines.
