Overview

The UCHealth Medical Group and the UCHealth Heart and Vascular ICU team in Loveland, CO are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their inpatient team. This is a full-time role focused on excellent patient care.
Team & Setting- Collaborative group including 46 physicians/surgeons and 20+ APPs.
- Cardiology-focused care with an emphasis on the best regional cardiology care.
- Epic EMR is used system-wide.
Responsibilities and requirements are listed for both Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
Requirements For Physician Assistants- Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado
- Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) issued by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications
- Eligible to provide services with Medicare and Medicaid
- Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with practice privileges
- Prescriptive authority as appropriate per medical staff privileging
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility; must apply for prescriptive authority as a condition of employment
- Masters degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Nurse Practitioner Certification from ANCC or AANPCB maintained throughout employment
- Unrestricted NP license in the state of practice or compact privileges
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges
- Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications
- Eligible to provide services with Medicare and Medicaid
- Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Competitive full-time pay range: $131,868 – $177,379 annually (depends on experience)
- Annual Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP) up to $10,000
- Relocation bonus up to $10,000 (if eligible)
