Work Schedule:
Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Nights
Pay: $59.80 - $83.72 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification and/or relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level.
- Provide top of scope pharmacy support utilizing evidence-based protocols and best practices to promote safety at the point of care.
- Value and effectively partner with multidisciplinary team to achieve care outcomes.
- Prioritize wellness, a patient perspective and evidence-based practice.
- Model proficiency through precepting and mentoring those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
- Welcome new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
- Contribute proactively to solutions to ensure safety and quality at the point of care.
- Ensure medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices.
- Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, accurate dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions.
- Stay current with updated medication formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research through continuous professional development and clinical education.
- Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate collaborative care to ensure optimal outcomes.
