Job Title: Admissions Representative

Reports To: Corporate Director of Admissions

Location: Northpoint Colorado (Adult inpatient Loveland, CO) – full‑time onsite.

Compensation: $22–26 per hour

Schedule: Friday–Monday 9am–7pm MST or Tuesday–Friday 7am–5pm MST

Position Summary

As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Admissions Representative is responsible for overseeing the patient/client admissions lifecycle and consistently driving the census at each facility. This person will manage a large amount of inbound and outbound lead generation activities, including telephone calls, email communications, and online chats, to prospect and develop leads. The Admissions Representative will work with multiple departments and outside vendors to ensure all goals are accomplished.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  • Coverage of Admissions phone line, online chats, and emails.
  • Obtain or oversee acquisition of complete and accurate patient/client information for admission.
  • Explain insurance benefits to potential patients/clients and their families.
  • Consult with Admissions Supervisor, Program Director, and Clinical Team about potential admissions.
  • Discuss payment options with potential patients/clients and/or family members or fiduciaries.
  • Verify acquisition of records for pending patients/clients from transferring and/or previous facilities and ensure timely receipt of all necessary documentation.
  • Provide the Program Director with information on new patients/clients to aid in schedule development.
  • Alert Clinical Team about new patients/clients and ensure a gender‑specific client pickup is scheduled.
  • Interact with the patient/client and family and prepare them for the transition; communicate with the Clinical Team as necessary.
  • Verify that the family, Admissions personnel at the referring facility, marketing representative, and any others involved have been contacted and receive all pertinent admission information.
  • Maintain contact with referral sources in cooperation with marketers.
  • Ensure accurate referral sources are entered into the electronic medical records system.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Admissions office.
  • Drive company vehicle for official and approved business; ensure safe transport.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and standards of care.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Must be at least twenty‑one (21) years of age.
  • 1+ year of sales experience in a call center setting preferred.
  • Experience with a growing company with multiple entities preferred.
  • Action‑oriented with the ability to adapt to change, work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive to finish.

  • Strong mentoring and coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise; ability to influence and engage employees and peers.
