Drive the integrity of financial reporting and accounting operations across all international entities and business units. In this role, you will lead global accounting operations, elevate internal controls, and unify teams to produce timely, audit‑ready financials for a $150M+ professional services firm empowering leaders to serve clients with confidence. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Global Systems Integration: Provide strategic oversight of financial systems across all regions, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment. Lead initiatives that advance global integration over time while balancing efficiency, scalability, and local compliance requirements.
  • General Ledger Integrity: Own the accuracy of the general ledger and ensure timely, precise month‑end close across all global entities.
  • Internal Controls: Design, implement, and maintain a robust internal control framework, including documentation, testing, and remediation of key controls.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements; prepare audit‑ready financial statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Partner with FP&A to align actuals with forecasts and support the variance analysis for leadership reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies, implement lasting solutions, and guide teams through change management with clarity and empathy.
  • Strategic Projects: Support ERP selection, entity structuring, M&A activity, and technical accounting assessments as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and mentor accounting team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with operations, payroll, tax advisors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Need
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including global or multi‑entity operations.
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP, familiarity with international accounting standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and leading others through change.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and automation tools; AI integration a plus.
  • Business Central experience a plus.
  • Experience in a global professional services or consulting environment a plus.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally, up to 15% annually.

Compensation:In some states and municipalities, Pinion is required by law to include a reasonable estimate for range of compensation. When making compensation decisions, Pinion takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location. The wide range for this role reasonably accounts for these factors. Specific compensation decisions are made based on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000 to $170,000.
