The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for driving the company’s engineering design, new product introduction and product strategy for our power generation and natural gas engine product lines. This role ensures that product innovation, engineering excellence, digital infrastructure, and enterprise systems support business strategy and drive competitive advantage and operational efficiency in the power solutions markets. The CTO leads the engineering and IT teams, manages associated budgets, evaluates and implements new systems, and stays ahead of industry trends to maintain competitive advantage.

As a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, the CTO plays a critical role in shaping the organization’s growth, digital transformation, product strategy and long‑term success.

• Directs the strategic design, acquisition, management, and commercialization of the power product line.
• Monitors and analyzes technology and trends that could improve the company’s power products and performance.
• Guides capital planning from an engineering and technology perspective, including lifecycle management, modernization, and asset‑replacement decisions.
• Chairs technical review boards and major project gate reviews.
• Develops and executes the company’s overall technology and product strategy in alignment with business objectives including customer satisfaction, market differentiation, and revenue growth.
• Leads the design, development, and implementation of innovative power solutions and products and ensures alignment across the organization.
• Oversees the company’s technology infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
• Manages and mentors engineering, IT, and technical operations teams to promote high performance and collaboration.
• Collaborates with executive leadership to support strategic planning and organizational growth.
• Ensures compliance with relevant data security, privacy regulations, and technology standards.
• Communicates power product vision and initiatives clearly across departments and to stakeholders, including the board of directors.

• Graduate degree in business administration, bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field from an accredited university.

• 15 years of experience preferred in technology and engineering leadership roles.
• 5 years of experience in executive or senior leadership roles.
• Honorably discharged service veterans are preferred.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.

• Lead both engineering (product design, development, validation, manufacturing support, product lifecycle) and IT (infrastructure, digital systems, cybersecurity, enterprise applications) organizations.
