Develop and maintain BOMs, production layouts, and product specifications while driving process improvements, cost reductions, and product development from prototype through production.
Responsibilities- Develop BOMs for the entire product line, including ERP integration.
- Create detailed layouts for production lines and product specifications.
- Use Solid Works to create accurate blueprints for production and product development.
- Develop prototypes, make modifications, and test product performance.
- Review and improve manufacturing processes.
- Apply relevant codes and engineering standards to design and execution of work.
- Create and maintain project and production schedules.
- Communicate with internal resources and customers to understand market-driven specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in project or design engineering.
- Experience in manufacturing, welding, specification preparation, and structural analysis.
- Experience with steel, non-ferrous materials, composites, and plastics.
- Technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in production optimization and product development.
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders to deliver work on time and on budget.
