System One is seeking a highly motivated Plant Integration Engineer to support the Plant Design Oversight (PDO) team on advanced nuclear reactor projects. This role supports first-of-a-kind nuclear facility design efforts and plays a critical role in ensuring successful integration of plant design, analysis, licensing, and construction activities.
The Plant Integration Engineer will support the building integration team by developing design requirements and strategies, performing owner’s acceptance and oversight reviews, and coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines. This position requires extensive experience in cross-discipline integration, technical leadership, and complex project coordination within regulated nuclear environments.
Responsibilities- Research, develop, and implement plant design bases and design strategies supporting plant design and licensing activities, including risk-informed, performance-based methodologies for extreme and external hazards
- Develop, maintain, review, and refine plant-level and system-level requirements and specifications to support integrated plant design activities
- Interface with multiple design disciplines to identify, develop, and define design information, criteria, and performance requirements
- Ensure licensing, regulatory, and code requirements are clearly established and properly implemented in alignment with project design and licensing strategies
- Perform oversight and acceptance reviews of partner and supplier work products for entry into project configuration control
- Coordinate and support multi-system integrated analyses

- Seismic analytical model development
- External hazard fragility analyses
- Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA)
