, you will lead the preconstruction and estimating division, guide cost strategy, and partner with senior leadership to shape business planning and market growth. You will oversee commercial estimating operations, manage architects and engineers through the design-build process, direct proposal development, cultivate client relationships, and ensure accurate budgeting, scheduling, and risk evaluation from concept through project turnover.

Tothrive as the Senior Commercial Estimator, you should have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of Commercial General Contractor estimating experience on public (government) and private sector projects; 5–8 years of field construction experience with supervisory exposure preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial construction estimating, including quantitative take-offs, bid processes, subcontractor scope review, pricing from RFP through project award, buyout procedures, and cost control across all divisions of work.
- Advanced technical proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, and adaptable estimating databases, with solid knowledge of construction documents, drawings, scheduling, contract law, project accounting, and local cost markets.
