Collections Specialist

Description We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team in Loveland, Colorado. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals experienced in credit and collections processes to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely payments to maintain healthy cash flow.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee commercial and consumer collections processes to ensure timely resolution of outstanding accounts.

- Utilize Oracle and Oracle Fusion systems to track, monitor, and process collections effectively.

- Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

- Handle billing collections and identify opportunities for process improvements.

- Ensure accurate cash applications and maintain detailed records of payment transactions.

- Communicate with customers professionally to address payment issues and negotiate solutions.

- Prepare and review reports related to collections and account statuses.

- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the collections process.

- Support the implementation of strategies to optimize collections and reduce past-due accounts. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial and consumer collections.

- Strong understanding of credit and collections practices.

- Proficiency in Oracle and Oracle Fusion systems.

- Experience with billing collections and cash applications.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.

- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
