Overview
Essential Functions:
Following health and safety standards. Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor. Assembling products and parts. Following production guidelines and specifications. Finalizing and packaging products for shipment. Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment. Monitoring the assembly line and removing faulty products. Working on the production line and meeting production targets. Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty. Performing other tasks as assigned.
The Utility position will be responsible for department clean up, work in department production positions, and operate production machines and equipment, including forklifts. Must have general knowledge of each job in the department and perform these jobs to reasonable production standards, as needed.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must coordinate eye-hand movements.
- This job requires moving in/out of productive work spaces
- Constantly moving around plant to remove debris, occasionally clearing steps or catwalks of debris.
- Each task for this job requires frequent changes in body position.
- Job requires constant standing, walking, transferring in/out of skid steer.
- Constant handling of shovels, brooms, dustpans, and pitch forks.
- Reaching in all planes is required for cleaning work spaces and disposing of debris.
- Gripping skills are necessary and required for handling of tools and operating machinery.
- While performing the job duties of this job, this position requires frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration as well as loud noise levels.

- Desired -- High School Diploma or equivalent, prior experience in manufacturing especially wood products, as well as prior experience operating production machinery and material handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
