Overview
The Warehouse Associate & CDL Driver is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, sending, and delivering inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock, and applying labels on outgoing parcels. The role also involves assisting production associates in chemical product handling, transfers, and batch making.
The candidate should have a strong drive to excel in a competitive industry within a fast-growing company, with a focus on customer retention and personal/professional growth.
- Shipping and receiving responsibilities
- Using forklift to load and unload trucks and move products around the warehouse
- Preparing orders for shipment, picking, and palletizing customer orders
- Basic inventory management, including checking raw material and finished goods quantities and reporting to manager
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Staging orders for next-day deliveries
- Chemical handling including chemical transfers and batch making
- Delivery of water treatment products, providing customer service at delivery, warehouse assignments, and other non-specified duties
- Forklift training and experience is preferred but not required (Certification & Training Provided)
- High school diploma or GED required; college experience is a plus
- Cross functionality is a necessary part of this position
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Must pass a post-offer DOT drug screening and background check
- CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement
- Not an initial component but may evolve to require experience in Excel, Word, Outlook
- Must be able to communicate in English and read proficiently in English
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
The position is warehouse-based. Availability outside standard business hours may be required to support warehouse and production needs of the company’s clients.
Physical RequirementsThis role can be physically demanding, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects regularly. The employee may need to move around a production and warehouse environment and carry products up to 80 lbs and maneuver drums over 500 pounds with proper equipment and training.
