Boom Truck Operator

American Roofing & Metal Company is looking for a BOOM TRUCK OPERATOR with a CLASS B CDL and a Crane Certification
, who is experienced with booming materials with 80-foot to 125-foot reach boom trucks. Skills as a mechanic are a plus for assisting the company’s mechanic on bad weather days.

As a representative of American Roofing and Metal Company, the Boom Truck Operator plays an extremely important role in getting our jobs off to a great start and for getting them completed as well. A positive attitude and a team-spirit on job sites is what sets us apart as a company. All Associates are expected to assist as needed and when asked, regardless of our Associate’s job title and conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner with our customers on job sites.

• Loading, unloading, strapping, rigging and planning for safe uploading and downloading of materials on all jobs assigned
• Dealing with customers professionally and efficiently
• Work closely with the Vice President of Operations with scheduling our Boom Truck
• Possess a strong attention to detail and always carries a pocket notepad to capture information as needed.
• Comfortable using basic Apps on the company issued iPhone for receiving assignments, managing the Boom Trucks schedule, maintance logs, etc.
• Maintaining logs and hours in crane
• Assisting with Boom Truck maintenance, safety inspections and DOT Compliance

CLASS B CDL and a Crane Certification
