Logistics Coordinator

Location & Requirements

• 100% onsite; must be local to Louisville or Foxboro.
• All submittals must include a MS Excel 365 intermediate user assessment result scoring 80% or higher.
• 1-year temporary role; no guarantee of conversion.

This candidate will act as a liaison for daily interaction with internal and external customers. Additional responsibilities include consistently maintaining daily service and service sales order reports, process staged orders, interact with the warehouses, freight carriers and any additional necessary contacts to identify and resolve any issues that would impact our customer’s shipments in order to meet their delivery requirements.

• Strong customer focus; provide highest levels of customer service consistently daily.
• Manage service and service sales orders to ship day of order being booked when stock is available in local warehouses.
• Prioritize logistics needs and communicate with warehouse operations and logistics team to meet delivery requirements.
• Follow existing processes and procedures to ensure daily execution of operating standards and service level agreements.
• Effective communication with professionalism and positive attitude with various individuals/groups.

• Priority setting – functions effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment, focus on important, cope with change, shift gears when necessary.
• Decision making / Problem solving – make decisions timely based on analysis and judgment suitable for customer demand; utilize logic to solve issues and look beyond scope for upmost customer satisfaction; understand how to get things done within our network.

• Must possess thorough understanding of customer service, supply chain, logistics and transportation method service requirements to ensure optimal day-to-day management of orders.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast past and global environment; detailed and multi-task oriented; strong interpersonal skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with logistics, ERP and warehouse related software.
