Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer / Datastage Developer with 8+ years of technical and development experience. The ideal candidate brings at least 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks, combined with strong ETL, SQL, and PySpark skills. This hybrid role requires the ability to manage cloud applications, work with Git‑based repositories and release pipelines, and maintain strong communication and multitasking abilities.
A professional Azure certification is required, along with prior experience working in IBM Datastage.
- Apply 8+ years of technical and development experience to design and deliver data engineering solutions.
- Use 3+ years of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks to build and optimize cloud-native ETL pipelines.
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows using SQL and PySpark.
- Support and manage cloud applications; experience managing network security is a plus.
- Leverage Git repositories, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth release management.
- Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Maintain one or more Azure professional certifications.
- Utilize required prior Datastage experience to support legacy pipelines and migration activities.
The annual salary range for this position is $83,000 – $94,000 USD, depending on experience, skill level, and location. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses in accordance with company compensation policies.
