Job Description

Reporting to the Mobile Service Manager, the Service Mobile Technician works from a mobile service unit performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy‑duty diesel trucks. The role requires working independently, maintaining a high safety standard while operating vehicles, and working in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform recommended routine maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests for issues, failures and performance.
  • Determine a course of action for damaged parts and systems.
  • Use computerized equipment and specialized tooling routinely.
  • Complete assigned repairs and tasks safely and within time.
  • Accurately record time, cause and correction on Repair Orders.
  • Test components that may require driving trucks before and after repairs.
  • Participate in technical training and professional development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Basic computer skills and Repair Order Processing Software.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Commercial Driver’s License preferred but not required.
  • Medical certificate (FMCSA) required.
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles and work in various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on‑call.
