Responsibilities
  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy following dealership and factory standards.
  • Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Road tests vehicles when required.
  • Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
  • Communicate with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if the work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, etc.
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Participates in manufacturer‑sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
  • Maintains and is accountable for all dealership‑owned tools and manuals.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • FCA Certified.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
  • Ensure customer's cars are kept clean and treated with respect.
  • Must be a helpful team player.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of automobiles.
  • Good communication.
  • Basic Computer.
  • Ability to learn new technology.
  • Accountability.
