Heavy Equipment Operator - Weekly Pay - Per Diem

Join our team to operate Heavy Equipment for large earthmoving projects. This role focuses on commercial work, primarily operating on standard earth terrain and open farmland.

• Operate Heavy Equipment to achieve final grade on commercial projects.
• Handle large earthmoving tasks on sites ranging from 200,000 to 20 million yards of dirt.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise grading.
• Maintain communication and awareness of surroundings to ensure safety and efficiency.

• 3+ years of experience operating Heavy Equipment in a Finish capacity.
• Ability to operate on mass grading sites for commercial projects.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints.

• Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory.
• Capability to be insured to operate company vehicles is advantageous.
• Experience with Trimble and Topcon GPS systems is beneficial.

This role offers competitive compensation including a per diem and mileage reimbursement. Enjoy the opportunity to earn substantial overtime, with 20-35 hours of overtime available per week. The work is conducted on a civil construction site located on open farmland in Lebanon, IN, subject to varying weather conditions. Summers are hot and humid with potential thunderstorms, while winters can be cold with rain, snow, and wind. Adherence to high safety standards per OSHA protocols is required. A professional appearance and behavior are expected in line with the site code of conduct.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Louisville, KY.
