JOB TITLE: Journeyman - Electrical

REPORTS TO: Superintendent/Foreman

JOB STATUS: Full Time

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the electrical installation of Baggage Handling Systems.

• Complete tasks associated with all aspects of electrical installation according to plans and priorities.
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
• Use machinery and equipment to complete tasks.
• Anticipate, troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
• Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Construction Environment
• Repetitive walking, climbing stairs
• Occasional physical hands‑on construction

WORK SCHEDULE: Varied full-time schedule with some overtime required based on business needs.

• Ability to bend pipe and work with rigid.
• Requires being able to respond to problem situations in a timely manner.
• Ability to accomplish safe, quality and on‑time completion of installation projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively across all departments within the company.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines.
• Self‑driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges.
• Ability to work in dynamic and changing environments.

• Possess an electrical Journeyman’s license
• Strong knowledge of NEC
• Strong knowledge of motors and controls
• Print reading
• OSHA 10
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
