Responsibilities
The Security Officer provides a safe and secure environment for Norton Healthcare properties, patients, employees, and visitors. The role responds to emergency situations, patrols assigned areas, escorts and transports patients, maintains records and reports, and contributes to the efficient operation of the department.
- This role requires driving Norton Healthcare vehicles, which could include transporting patients and visitors. You must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Required:
- Driver's License
- One year in security, law enforcement, or military
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Healthcare Security Officer
