JOB SUMMARY

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities of the security shift which provides safety and protects all patrons, employees and company assets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.

* Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.

* Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.

* Development of staff, evaluating and training by designing training programs.

* Assist with interviewing and selection.

* Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting.

* Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift.

* Meet with Directors and Managers as necessary.

* Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Management abilities demonstrated in managing security operational effectiveness.

* Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.

* Oral and written communication skills.

* Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.

* Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of shift.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* Two to five years' experience as a security guard or law enforcement agent with a 2-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience is preferred.

* Valid Racing License
