Job SummaryThe Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities of the security shift which provides safety and protects all guests, Team Members and company assets.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and customers.
- Manages programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
- Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
- Development of staff, evaluating and training by designing training programs.
- Assist with interviewing and selection.
- Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift.
- Meet with Directors and Managers as necessary.
- Completes and processes performance reviews.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills And Abilities
- Management abilities demonstrated in managing security operational effectiveness.
- Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of shift.
- Two to five years’ experience as a security guard or law enforcement agent with a 2-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Valid Racing License
