Part-Time 7:30a - 8p

We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team at Baptist Health Hardin. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to maintain a safe secure environment within the healthcare facility. You will conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance, respond to emergencies, and facilitate conflict resolution.

• Reports out-of-the ordinary activity in and around the hospital/grounds
• Respond to security and safety related emergencies
• Conducts investigations and completes reports
• Provides security escorts as needed
• Excellent customer service toward patients, families, and employees

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid KY driver's license with satisfactory driving record defined by Baptist Health Hardin policy is required.
• Good organizational, oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work well with others and present a professional appearance.

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
• International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) certification preferred.
