Job PurposeIn this role you will drive growth by managing ZEON’s Specialty N product segment. You’ll manage a robust pipeline, represent ZEON at industry events, collaborate cross functionally to deliver profitability to the N Business Unit, and have P&L responsibility for the Specialty business segment. In addition to strong sales skills, the ideal Business Development Specialist will be comfortable representing the business in various areas outside of the traditional sales role including technical, quality, and product stewardship.

- Work closely with and under the direction of the Business Manager – N to execute growth strategies.
- Manage marketing and product initiatives for a subset of N materials.
- Represent the commercial team in quality investigations and subsequent corrective action implementation.
- Through collaboration with the sales team, develop pricing strategies for the Specialty segment.
- Lead negotiations and business development efforts for key accounts in targeted growth areas.
- Lead close technical collaboration with key external and internal and stakeholders to drive growth.
- Represent ZEON at trade shows and industry events to promote products and generate leads.
- Support innovation projects through the Stage-Gate process and drive progress on new product development.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify strategic growth opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business with experience in related field.
- 3+ years of experience in chemical trading or industrial chemical sales preferred.
- Previous customer facing interaction is required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to follow up effectively
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Excellent time management with the ability to set and manage competing priorities
- Salesforce or CRM experience is desirable
