Talis Groups’ client is a premier provider of thermo packaging and logistics solutions. They are seeking an experienced Sales Representative with a background in Contract Packaging
. We are looking for a highly motivated, results‑driven individual who is committed to expanding business opportunities and building long‑term customer relationships.
Minimal travel.
Salary: up to $75K base with proven earning potential of $120-130K
, no cap.
- Strong network of industry contacts and corporate relationships.
- Well‑established connections within the manufacturing and packaging sectors.
- Proven history of prospecting, developing leads, and closing sales supported by measurable results.
- Identify, initiate, and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Analyze customer needs and competitive activity to develop targeted sales strategies.
- Clearly and effectively communicate technical product and service information.
- Collect necessary customer data, evaluate and quote new projects.
- Prepare accurate proposals including pricing, timelines, and delivery details.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order fulfillment while coordinating with internal teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed sales records, pipeline activity, and required reporting.
- Create and execute short- and long-term business development plans.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable industry experience.
- Previous experience in manufacturing and/or contract packaging sales.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and proposal‑writing abilities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with process and project management.
- Ability to set priorities and meet goals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Ability to pass background and drug screening.
