Vaco has partnered with a company looking for a "hunter" for their National Sales Representative position.

Position Overview

The National Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and managing client relationships across a nationwide territory. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and serving as a key partner to customers by delivering solutions that meet their business needs. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with strong communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to close deals in a competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities across assigned markets and industries.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, driving long-term customer relationships and repeat business.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations with decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, operations, and customer success to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and CRM documentation.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 8-10 years of successful B2B or B2C sales experience, preferably with a national or multi-state territory.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support national accounts.
