Job Overview

Join Target as an On-Demand Guest Advocate (Cashier) for the General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, and Style teams. Starting hourly rate is $15.75 USD per hour.

As a Guest Advocate, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for guests, handling cash register operations, and supporting cash office processes. You will also be expected to work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping them with their needs.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store open hours.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be flexible with your schedule. You should also be able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
