We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional amount on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and assists customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and thrives on engaging with customers to resolve inquiries and problems.

The role involves working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed.
• Process sales and loan transactions in line with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers, and contribute to a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training and perform other duties as needed.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.) in accordance with laws.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform basic math.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed and on a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during the interview process.
