Responsibilities
Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).Assist in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to shelves.Inform customers of grocery specials and gather shopping carts.Clean spills, collect trash inside and outside the store, and handle seasonal merchandise.Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.Follow all legal and company guidelines, work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, and manage conflicts professionally.Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.Qualifications
