Seasonal Sales Associate - Mall at St. Matthews

Overview

Vans is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store during peak season with potential to transition to regular employment. The role involves delivering high levels of customer engagement, promoting brand knowledge, and assisting with store operations as needed.

• Provide a high level of personalized customer engagement.
• Serve as a one-stop resource for customers, offering exciting product, community, and activity-based knowledge and recommendations.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and share relevant activity, community, and product knowledge to create a memorable customer experience.
• Achieve sales and productivity goals by utilizing available resources to meet customers’ needs.
• Assist in the execution and maintenance of visual directives and standards, including merchandise presentation, housekeeping, and product replenishment.
• Assume cashier duties as needed.
• Assist in the execution of Loss Prevention initiatives.
• Support overall visual and operational maintenance of the store.

• Ability to foster a customer-centric mindset and create an inclusive store environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends, evenings, and holidays).
• Ability to collaborate, work as a team, and be adaptable in the workplace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge, experience, and/or willingness to learn about products, activities, and community relevant to the store’s customer base.
• Attention to detail and proficient computer skills.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodations.

Hiring Range: $14.00 - $19.20 USD per hour.
