Our franchise organization, TBD Foods, LLC dba Golden Corral, is currently seeking energetic, friendly individuals to join our team!

The Cook is responsible for ensuring the quality, quantity, tastiness, and freshness of all Hot Choice Buffet products. The role emphasizes speed, cleanliness, organization, and adherence to product specifications.

• Prepares Hot Choice Buffet products, including Carving and Display Cooking items, following Golden Corral recipes and procedures.
• Grills all items to meet Golden Corral standards for quality.
• Ensures fried products are always served hot and fresh.
• Restocks items at the Display Cooking Station if the Buffet Attendant is unavailable.
• Assists guests with carved meat options when the Carver is unavailable.
• Follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.

• Maintains proper temperatures of all products during cooking, holding, and serving.
• Uses the Hot Choice Buffet Production Guide and Display Cooking Hot Cook Production Guide for inventory management.
• Performs opening and closing administrative procedures.
• Maintains equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual.
• Restocks and rotates food using FIFO method.
• Conducts inventory checks and coordinates with the Manager at shift start and end.
• Ensures cleanliness of the Hot Cook area and smallwares.
• Completes duty rosters, ensuring standards for cleanliness, service, and quality are met.
• Adheres to local health department laws.
• Keeps Char Grill clean and sanitized.

• Ensures Hot Choice Buffet products are always hot and fresh for guests.
• Follows responsibilities for just-in-time delivery.
• Provides friendly and courteous guest assistance.
• Maintains professional communication at all times.
