Join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY, 40219, as a Quality Control (Fabrication) specialist! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our fabrication processes meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
1st Shift
We are specifically looking for someone that has experience reading blueprints and weld symbols. Someone that has quality experience in a heavy industrial setting it a plus. We are also open to Welder/Fabricators that are looking to get off of the floor. Vendor relationships are something that is a responsibility of the role.

Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of fabricated products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Identify and document any defects or non-conformities in the fabrication process.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and improve quality processes.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control measures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Participate in regular quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and support to team members on quality standards and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in quality control or fabrication preferred.
- Proven experience in quality control within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality standards, inspection techniques, and testing methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using quality control tools and software.
You should be proficient in:
- Quality Inspection Experience
- Quality Control Experience
- Tape Measure Reading
- Vendor & Supplier Management
- Quality Control Data Analysis
- Blueprint Reading
Machines & technologies you'll use:
- Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
- Measurement Gauges
- Calipers and Micrometers
Salary info:
$25 - $28 / hr
