In this role you will support achieving and maintaining operational quality levels, assist with audits and certifications, ensure customer requirements and KPIs are in place, and strive to improve quality scores. You will collect, maintain, and distribute all documents and communications relevant to compliance with Arvato’s Corrective Action/CI System(s), including internal/external audit non‑conformances, customer complaints, internal process compliance, objective evidence/verification of closed CARs, etc.
YOURTASKS
- Ensure the development, launch, and maintenance of Arvato’s Corrective Action System to meet or surpass requirements of the ISO
9001 (or 13485) and customer‑specific requirements - Review documented processes per ISO
9001 (or 13485) and CSRs against corrective action plans as planned through RCCA documentation - Assist in development/enforcement of quality systems in all departments by ensuring effectiveness of corrective actions through follow‑up and routine audits
- Lead cross‑functional meetings and facilitate teams in preparing and executing Root Cause/Corrective Action activities
- Provide detailed problem‑solving expertise to Operations and Quality in Root Cause investigations
- Coordinate and chair cross‑functional RCCA report meetings
- Maintain corrective action tracking system/database and ensure prompt communication with all parties involved
- Prepare surveillance of third‑party quality systems audits to maintain certifications
- Lead audits where appropriate and follow up with open issues as required
- Present relevant open issues to responsible parties and ensure timely closure
- Provide training on Corrective Action procedures to Arvato personnel
- Provide analysis and actionable input to Management Review regarding effectiveness/efficiency of the Corrective Action System
- Participate in presentations to management and customers as required
- Be a member of cross‑functional teams focused on problem‑solving and continuous improvement, completing action plans as delegated
- Assist in developing Turtle Diagrams, Management System requirements, and potential changes to regulatory standards (ISO
9001, ISO
14001, ISO
13485, OSHA, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
- 5 years’ experience in Quality Management or a leadership role
- Working knowledge of core quality system principles (PPAP, SPC, APQP, Root Cause/Corrective Action methods)
- Demonstrated expertise in problem‑solving methods (RCCA, 5‑Why, 8‑Disciplines, Deming/PDCA, A3) and ability to coach in those methods
- Six Sigma/Lean experience preferred
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Experience with quality management systems
- Proficiency in quality management and audit tools (e.g., Master Control)
