Overview
Client Service Representative – Veterinary Receptionist. Gailor Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time CSR to join our team of veterinary professionals at our hospital in Louisville, KY.
Responsibilities- Greet and welcome each visitor and assess their needs
- Handle incoming phone calls and emails and determine the urgency
- Perform client check-ins and check-outs, including reviewing invoices
- Communicate visit expectations to clients, assist owners with pet management to minimize unsafe situations and client stress
- Process and document financial transactions accurately
- Schedule appointments based on client expectations, patient medical requirements and clinic needs
- Manage emergency situations and walk-ins
- Respond to online requests for products, prescriptions or client questions in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness in the lobby areas, exam rooms, and general stocking of client or patient areas
- Recommend products available to clients through our facilities
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least one year of client service experience, preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to problem solve
- Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively
- Team player, patient, and maintain a positive attitude
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
