Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky.

• Provide care for moderate to high-acuity cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and medical patients (e.g., CHF, strict I&Os, SVT, a-fib, a-flutter, NSTEMI, CAD, COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, pleural effusions with thoracentesis, respiratory failure, acute and chronic kidney failure, altered mental status, metabolic/electrolyte abnormalities, DM, anemia).
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor patient status.
• Wound care including dressing pressure injuries, surgical wound care, negative pressure dressing.
• Administer and manage drips:
  Heparin, Lasix, Amiodarone.

• Preferred: charge experience and willingness to take on charge duties
