Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement annual registration plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Identify and manage resources necessary for successful registration processes (e.g., technology, personnel, marketing).
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful registration. This would include, but not be limited to: regional and campus academic leaders, clinical teams, scheduling, registrars, student support staff, IT, admissions, and operations.
  • Oversee the entire student registration process, including course selection, publishing of the schedule, set up of registration groups, placement appeals, and waitlist management (including add/drop requests).
  • Develop and implement procedures for handling registration exceptions and special circumstances.
  • Manage waitlists and allocation of available course seats effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date registration data and records.
  • Generate reports on registration patterns, trends, and enrollment statistics.
  • Work effectively with the Associate Director of Registration and Compliance, registrars, schedulers, faculty, academic departments, IT, marketing, and students.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely regarding registration policies, procedures, and updates.
Position Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nursing, Education, Business Administration) or a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in higher education registration.
  • Proven experience in managing complex operational processes and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and student information systems.
  • Understanding of and commitment to compliance with federal and state regulations governing student records.
